1 Site of Bull’s Head inn, High street, Alcester. Site of historical inn recorded in Victoria County History vol 3 Barlichway hundred which states it was at number 9 High street.
Situated on the west side of the High street at the junction with Church street and Butter street, in the medieval part of the town. Listed building record (DWA3251) gives a date of late C16 for the inn.
2 Presumably the large, three storey building, in 2014 the ‘Select and Save’. A cast iron bracket for a pub sign is still in situ.
