Roman features at Manor Farm, Flecknoe
Description of this historic site
Several Roman ditches were found during archaeological work. Roman pottery dating to the 2nd century AD was found in the ditches. They were situated 300m east of the church at Flecknoe.

Notes about this historic site
1 An archaeological watching brief identified ditches thought to be of Roman date. Other features were identifed as Roman but their form and function was undetermined. It was concluded from the pottery that the Roman occupation of the site was for a brief period during the 2nd century.
