Notes about this historic site
1 Extent of ridge and furrow ploughing mapped as part of English Heritage (EH) National Mapping Project (NMP). The rig is narrow (5-6m from furrow to furrow), very straight and there is a broad headland on the north western edge of the field, which indicates that a mecdhanical plough may have been used to cultivate the field.
