Notes about this historic site
1 A quantity of Romano British sherds, including both coarse and Samian sherds, collected by members of University of Warwick Extra-Mural class from ploughed land adjacent to Billesley deserted Medieval settlement.
2 Finds may indicate Romano British settlement and include 81 probable Roman sherds including Severn Valley ware, Oxfordshire colour-coated, one sherd of Samian and a ‘Belgic’ sherd.
