Notes about this historic site
1 This single arched bridge probably dates from 1665 when it was rebuilt after being reported out of repair since 1663.
2 In 1661 this bridge was a horse bridge of stone and wood construction and in need of repair. The responsibility for repair was shared by Offchurch and Cubbington. A dispute arose in 1661-4 when it was in bad repair and swept away by a flood.
