Notes about this historic site
1 Originally part of Studley manor, Holt had become a separate manor by 15th century. The Manor house in Studley village was probably the Manor House of Holt. It is of late 17th century date, of red brick with Ionic pilasters of stone at the angles, stone entablature with a bracketed cornice, and a parapet with 5 balustraded spaces.
