Description of this historic site
The remains of brick walling and terracing were found during archaeological work on Main Street, Newbold on Avon. The remains probably dated to the Imperial period and were indicative of a settlement.

1 A watching brief on the excavation of foundation trenches for a garage found evidence of terracing and brick walls, both probably of 19th century date and possibly representing outworks of the Old Vicarage.
