Historic public house dating to the Imperial period. Evidence from Victuallers Database that pub in existence in 1804.
2 Situated on Tamworth road, close to the Bull’s Head Bridge crossing the canal. Associated with the canal wharf, industrial buildings across the road to the south, and 19th century housing to the north of the pub.
