Notes about this historic site
1 7 circular mounds approximately 14m in diameter and a group of linear mounds located in the fields adjacent to Coates Barn were mapped as part of the English Heritage National Mapping Project.
2 One explanation for these features is that they are pillow mounds for managing rabbit farming.
