This video link charts the history of the School House and associated Coton Hall. Thomas Coton founded a school for the children of Kingsbury, Warwickshire in 1686. His old school is now a home but his residence was thought to be lost until it was rediscovered by Craig Stevens. The lost history of Thomas Coton is part of Telling the Tale of the Tame, a project of the Tame Valley Wetlands Landscape Scheme.

My relatives lived in Coton Hall in 1871 Census. I also attended Kingsbury school and knew the Teachers House well. I would like to know more
Same here, one of our ancestors was at Coton Hall in 1851. We live quite nearby and would love to see the plaque marking the footings of the hall.
