This is the new Baptist Chapel built in 1867 by G.F.Muntz of Umberslade Hall Hockley Heath at a cost of £1800 pound,it was to replace the original that burnt down earlier.

This photograph shows the second Baptist Chapel on the site. The first had fallen into disrepair and was subsequently removed. The chapel in the photograph was financed by George Frederick Muntz in 1867, using George Ingall of Birmingham as his architect. This building suffered a fire in 1936 when the facade was left standing. Upon rebuilding it was remodelled, retaining part of the frontage and shell to the rear. The builder for the 1867 Chapel was John Smallwood of Wootton Wawen. The same combination of benefactor, architect and builder went on to build Christ Church Umberslade Baptist Church, Hockley Heath in 1877.
