1 There is an undated museum memorandum containing information from Mr Brian Hutty that there is a deserted medieval settlement around Yew Green. There are no earthworks indicative of this, and no source is given by Mr Hutty for his information, it can not be substantiated.
2Called Ewe Green on 1st Edition 1:2500 OS Map of 1880s. Only a single building and no name shown on OS 2 inch to 1 mile drawings of 1814.
