Notes about this historic site
1 An undated stone well and an undated ditch were recorded during archaeological observation at ‘The Green’, Long Itchington. The stone well was recorded just to the south-east of the house which was shown on the OS map of 1886 and was likely to have dated back to the earliest, timber-framed, phase of the house. An undated ditch was recorded to the west of the existing house, truncated by 20th century drains.
