Tramway Bridge

Description of this historic site

The possible site of a tramway bridge built in the Imperial period. The alternative site is over the River Stour at Alderminster Farm, 1km to the north west of Alderminster.

Notes about this historic site

1 The reference to a tramway bridge at Alderminster gives the village itself as GR but there is no bridge over the river at this point. A mile to the NW however at Alderminster Farm there is a single arch brick bridge bearing a passing resemblance to the Stratford bridge.
