Notes about this historic site
1 The present Slowley Hall stands on the site of an ancient house.
2 There are many indications that former structures and materials have been re-used in the farm outbuildings. These outbuildings incorporate many walls of red sandstone. The bottom two courses of one wall of the rickyard is composed of ashlar blocks, approx .5m by 1m.
