Historic inn recorded on Victoria County History as No. 87. Situated on the east side of the High Street, the main thoroughfare of Coleshill, within the medieval settlement.
VCH records 18thC brick front with the south gabled side (towards a narrow passage-way) as completely of 17thC timber-framing. Also recorded is a wide covered gateway beteen the Reindeer inn and no. 85 with a pair of substantial 18thC gates.
