Notes about this historic site
1 Cawston Lodge is a modern house which is on the site of and incorporates material from an Elizabethan mansion demolished 50-60 years ago.
2 In 1546 the grange was granted to Thomas Boughton. His son Edward built a mansion with material from the ruins of White Friars Church, Coventry.
4 A modern building now occupies the site.
