The site of a ford, a shallow point in a river where people, vehicles and animals would have crossed. The ford is of unknown date. It is known from documentary evidence. The ford is situated 500m south of Round Hill.

Notes about this historic site
1 Traces of the original ford can be seen on the N side of the modern bridge. Lands allotted to the repair of the bridge are mentioned in the Inclosure Award of 1743.
2 There is now no trace.
