Description of this historic site

Shrewley Smithy, a forge where cast iron was made into wrought iron during the Imperial period. The buildings are now in use as a garage and they are situated 300m west of Shrewley Farm, Shrewley Common.

Notes about this historic site

1 Used till 1930; now garage workshop; two storey with hoisting door; no equipment remains.
