Lovie reports villas with pleasure grounds survive at time of his survey (1996/7) but with reduced grounds.
Oakfield House converted to offices at time of survey and paddock became early lawn tennis club (pre 1887); Lovie reports it as being a football field. Woodville House now an hotel; at time of survey Tower Lodge for sale as offices. Lovie gives no details of Bridport House.
