Description of this historic site
The rubble foundations of a small Roman building were exposed during stripping for the construction of a reed bed. A Romano-British coin and pottery and tile associated with the building were also recovered. The site is located 330m NW of Whitehill House, Oxhill.

1 The rubble foundations of a small Roman building were exposed during stripping for the construction of a reed bed. A slot through the fundations exposed the cut for a wall, which was cut into the natural clay. A Romano-British coin and pottery and tile associated with the building were also recovered.
