Railway Bridge

Description of this historic site

A railway bridge built in the Imperial period. It is situated just to the east of the river bridge, at Wixford.

Notes about this historic site

1 Single arch bridge over railbed, built in 1866.
2 The proposed road passes to the west of this bridge, but its fabric may be affected by the proposed landscaping of the road. The bridge itself is a traffic hazard, and will probably be removed, so recording is recommended.
