We lived in this house from 1959 till 1968. When my parents purchased this house it came with the condition that the orchard and the beautiful garden that contained a maze was sold off for building land, that is where the houses are today.
Somewhere I have a photo of the original garden.
The structure you see now was built in 1760 it was attached to the original structure that dates back and is mentioned in the Domesday Book. There were stables and out buildings there when we moved but were demolished unfortunately in 1961.
