Notes about this historic site
1 The site of a monastic grange for which there is documentary evidence from the C15th which suggests that the estate may date back to the C13th. There are earthworks of fishponds (WA1673) which survive in the grounds of the present building which is a farm, listed grade 11, containing late medieval elements.
2 280 acres of waste land at Keresley and Exhall were given to Coventry Priory c.1150.
