Notes about this historic site
1 Early neolithic pit containing sherds from a carinated bowl, further sherds of this and other pottery were found in the vicinity.
2 Pit redated as Late Bronze Age as further analysis of the pottery assemblage dated it to the “later Bronze Age, certainly some time after c 1200 BC”.
