Description of this historic site
Findspot - archaeological work at land just south west of Heathcote Lane revealed material such as clay pipes, pottery and dumped building material. All the finds dated to the Imperial period.

Notes about this historic site
1 Observations along the trench and easement for a new sewage pipe in 1997 located a concentration of clay tobacco pipes (dated to the early to mid 19th century), charcoal and pottery close to a dump of building debris.
