Findspot - fragments of Roman pottery were found 700m north west of High Cross.

Notes about this historic site

1 Roman pottery found 600m NW of Venonae in ploughed land in April 1978. Sherd scatter included Samian, mortaria, amphorae and grey wares over area 50m by 50m. Further observations will be made when ploughed this year.
