Notes about this historic site
1 Semi-perforated hammer-stone from Ryton-on-Dunsmore.
2 A quartzite pebble 7.6 cm long, showing signs of battering and with depression drilled on each side for finger-holds. A Neolithic date is suggested.
3 No information on exact findspot.
4 One pebble macehead in the Ashmolean Museum.
