Notes about this historic site
1 Archaeological observation of ground disturbance associated with the partial redevelopment of Henley-in-Arden Police and Fire Station revealed no trace of Medieval remains, although the site lay in the centre of the Medieval town. The earliest surviving feature was an 18th/19th century yard surface. The loose finds included a single 14th/15th century sherd and 17th – 19th century pottery and clay tobacco pipe.
