A trackway dating to the Early Medieval period. This trackway is probably Feldene Stret, the road to the Feldene. It is known from documentary evidence. This route is now the existing Birmingham to Stratford Road.

Notes about this historic site
1 A charter of Bishopton dated AD 1016 refers to the Feldene Stret (?road to the Feldon). This is the present Birmingham to Stratford road, reached by the E boundary of Bishopton at SP 5718.
