Comments
Started by Edward Boddington, formerly a combmaker probably in same building, in 1840s. Became a beer house, possibly in response to likely railway navvy’s shanty town nearby on the Common in 1843/44. Boddington’s son built the nearby Wyandotte. Full story here.
