Notes about this historic site
1 Opposite the Peacock Inn. This is one of several stone-built, roofed drinking-fountains which still stand on their original sites in S Warwickshire. The village water supply was, in the 19th century, the responsibility of the Marquis of Northampton.
2 Photographed in 1985.
