Modern Dumping, South of Lower Tysoe

Modern soil spreading.
1 Field walking in the field was halted when a resident informed the group of the dumping and spreading of soil to infill ridge and furrow. The soil was brought in from a housing development in Middle Tysoe. Some finds were collected and there was a light scatter of Romano-British and medieval pottery and a scatter of worked flint. It is impossible to be certain where the finds originate.
