The site of a windmill which dated to the Post Medieval period. It was situated 500m south west of Tachbrook Mallory.

Notes about this historic site
1 Windmill Hill. There is reference to a windmill belonging to the manor in 1557.
2 There is a large mill mound at SP31316172.
3 Field named as Near Windmill Field and field to N as Far Windmill Field.
4 The site was levelled in July 1984. The mound c 2m high was surrounded by a shallow 0.6m ditch. A large hollow, possibly the result of quarrying for mound material and marked on the OS map was filled in with mound material. The site will be ploughed in the late summer/autumn of 1984.
