Notes about this historic site
1 Sir Edward Belknaps house at Weston-under-Wetherley was built with the profits from sheep farming (on a new site?). It was demolished in the 1730s. The site is uncertain but probably close to the current Weston Hall Farm.
2 No house is marked on Beighton’s map of 1725 so it must have gone by then.
