The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust is situated in the centre of Stratford-upon-Avon, the home town of William Shakespeare. The Shakespeare Centre on Henley Street is home to our library, archive and museum collections which have been designated as world class. As well as caring for the largest collection of Shakespeare related material in the UK, the Trust holds an extensive local history archive of the Stratford-upon-Avon and South Warwickshire areas, with records dating back to the 12th century.
We are a group of devoted volunteers, looking after the Cardall Collection. Our Mission is to save Southam’s heritage! Southam’s Cardall Collection comprises artifacts, documents, photographs and memorabilia associated with Southam and its surrounding villages. The Cardall Collection was originally built up by Southam resident Jack Cardall in the mid 20th century.

Spon End Building Preservation Trust (S.E.B.P.T.) is the organisation behind Black Swan Terrace and the Weaver’s House. We are a community organisation and a registered charity run by volunteers.
The Society was formed in January 2011 with the principal aim of discovering and recording information about the village’s rich history. Since then we have undertaken several projects, largely relating to significant buildings in the village; we have a thriving membership. New members will be warmly welcomed to our meetings.
