My childhood home at the time this picture was taken. My bedroom window is the one at top left.
The Grand Union canal which circles the property on three sides was a source of much fun for my brother and I and much anxiety for my mother!
Two magnificent beech trees stood at the front of the property which helped to shelter the house from wind.
