Toll gate near Warwick on Stratford Road with two people standing outside the building. 1910s [It has been suggested turnpike's powers expired in 1872, so would have a gate after that date, also the dress was not of this period. The house was removed to Barford, date not known.]

The date given must be wrong. The toll house (dating from 1843 and made redundant by abolition of the turnpike in 1872) was taken down and rebuilt as a lodge for Watchbury House in Church Lane, Barford, in 1879.
