Comments
On Ascension Day morning the choir used to participate in a service at the top of the tower and sing hymns. My father (Peter Stocker) was a boy in the choir in about the late 1940’s. They were specifically told not to launch paper aeroplanes from the top of the tower, so of course, they did not! (?)
