My husband’s gt-grandfather worked in the needle factor as a needle filler – Thomas Lamb, he was born in Studley. I guess many of his family also worked there. I am still researching the history of his family and places he lived. I have found he may have lived in Hold Road Studley when he was 60 years of age. This is ongoing and loving every minute of this.
Hi there. I live in Studley and have recently cleared out our loft (never been up there before) and have found masses of sewing needles in boxes dated back to 1960/70s.
I would love to identify the different needles if anyone can help?
