Many memories of queueing up in the dining room for spam and chips at St Paul’s College of Education 1968. Remember John and Nan McArdle and Mr Mulligan from the English Department. It was like another world in those days compared to now.
I was there in 1963. A month after my arrival we heard that President Kennedy had been shot. A vivid moment.
Another time there was a near riot when the clock in the courtyard struck 13, 14 15 o’clock until it stopped at about 32 o’clock.
Lots of memories.
