If this photo is taken in the 1950s, it must have been very early in the decade. The cottage in the foreground was certainly not there in 1955 when I attended the school. Indeed, there was no trace of it, although there was a bomb shelter in what would have been its back garden.
I attended Ladbroke School from 1953-59,we used to play in that Air Raid Shelter at break times.. Happy Days
