In the early hours of 10 September 1934 (rather than 1933) the bus garage of Kineton Green Bus services was destroyed in a fire, along with its entire fleet of buses.
Vehicles were hired, initially from Stratford Blue, to keep services running until replacement buses were purchased. A new garage was also built.
In 1936 the Hunt family, who owned Kineton Green, decided to sell the business. At the end of that year it passed to Stratford Blue. The garage was used by Stratford Blue (and Midland Red, after it took over the Blue) until 1980.
Kineton Green ran bus services from the village to Stratford, Leamington and Banbury.
