Albert Edward West my Grandfather cared for the clock for years, I remember going with him many a time and it was very interesting. I can not remember the period of time he did it for but it was for years until he could no longer do it. I have never seen his name in anything to do with the church history but would be nice to do so.
After the bells had been rung for Sunday morning services, another bell used to be rung afterwards. This was called the, “Pudding Bell, indicating that it was time for the puddings to be cooled.
