Is there any help you can give me in relation to tracking down the dates of service or what happened to a fireman from W.C.F.B? all i know is he served with them under fireman number 308 and his name is D Harwood?? or similar. I have had a Google and cannot find any forums or similar places to research matters so wondered if you could point me in the right direction to gain some kind of information about him.
Reason for asking, I have simply picked up a vintage jacket with hand written label inside with all his personal details and fireman number, height, weight etc etc. The name is hard to read, but like I say perhaps Harwood, but 308 for sure. would just like to find out a bit more about the man whose jacket I’m wearing.

Definitely post WWII as the Warwick County Fire Brigade didn’t get formed until 1948. The fire engine is an Austin K2 auxiliary towing unit.

This was taken in 1949. My father and grandfather are both on the photo. It was taken in Kineton Market Place, where the fire station used to be.
In relation to D.Harwood, I know of Derek Harwood, who was a fireman at Nuneaton in roughly 1970 – 2000
