Baxterley Windmill in the 1900s.
Built 'J.B.' in 1793 on Baxterley Common. Ceased by late 1880s. Demolished c.1969. Main post used for reconstruction of the Danzey Green Mill, [Tanworth] at Avoncroft Museum of Buildings.
Post Mill, open trestle, 4 common sails, ladder and tailpole.

This is more likely a photo of Pinwall postmill and not Baxterley which was very similar. Notice differences in piers, rear top doorway and boarding. Ref: Nigel Moon ‘Leicestershire Mills’
