Notes about this historic site
1 Lands not exceeding 3 acres in Upper Ettington and 2 acres in Fulready were to be reserved for public stone pits and quarries for the repairs of roads.
2 Stone pit ground is marked on a map of 1841 at Fulready. SP2764645.
3 The field at Fulready was stubble and no surface irregularities which may have been the remains of stone pits could be found.
