Historic inn recorded on F White & Co.’s, Pigot’s and Victuallers’ databases. The latter shows it in existence in 1805.
Situated on the west side of Henley street, next door to the site of the Greyhound inn, in the medieval part of the town. Includes numbers 25 and 27 Henley street.
Listed building record (DWA4448) gives a date of mid/late C17.
