Notes about this historic site
1 Archaeological evaluation of land off Waterloo Road, Bidford on Avon produced no significant evidence for Romano-British or Anglo-Saxon activity. One gully in Trench 27 produced a single sherd of probable Romano-British pottery. The area is likely to have been in agricultural use from at least the Medieval period.
