Notes about this historic site

1 SW of Thurlaston, ridge and furrow was preserved as earthworks within two adjacent fields. In the western field the easement for the Draycote to Barby pipeline followed a similar alignment to the ridge and furrow but in an area where it was poorly preserved. In the eastern field the easement crossed well-preserved ridge and furrow at an angle of approximately 40 degrees.
